Hot Shot is about Sexy Jack and beautiful Gina. I absolutely loved this story. Jack lost his wife and unborn child years earlier and he has stayed away from all relationships since. Gina is a looking for someone to lover her for her. Gina and Jack deserve a HEA. Gina is a popstar who is in the wrong place at the wrong time or maybe she is in the right place at the right time. Jack is on a mission and somehow saves Gina from her cartel ex boyfriend. Well they have to stay in a cave along the beach waiting for transport and the sexual chemistry between these two is off the charts.Well once transport comes they pretend not to know eachother ...Four years later...Gina has a problem and the only person she knows to call is Jack.

My favorite of the series so far. Jack and Gina met when he rescued her from a terrorist (although, at the time, he didn't realize that his sniper shots rescued her, he thought she was with Metaxas by her own choice). For three days they were alone and on the final day, they acted on their mutual attraction.
Fast forward three years and Gina calls him because her son - THEIR son - has been kidnapped.
This one was emotional. We live through the emotions of Gina when she has to tell Jack what she kept from him and the emotions of Jack as he deals with his feelings for Gina and the son he never knew he had. They are definitely my favorite couple this far in this series and I'm glad I didn't stop reading after the third book (like I almost did) because of how great this one was.
Lynn has exceeded my expectations once again this story has action from start to end Jack the Hot Sniper and Gina the Princess of Pop Singers had met 3 years ago and spent 3 days hiding in a cave and unknown to Jack he was the father to Eli Gina's son. The story is all action with Eli Kidnapping and rescue then Gina & Eli kidnapped and it ends with a HEA. This series just keeps getting better with each Story Lynn it's a 5***** story. I just loved this story and anyone who loves Military Romances this is a great read. I am not too good at writing reviews but I had to write something this book is to good not to say how much I enjoyed Jack and Gina's story
HOT operators Jack and Brandy have the Greek arms dealer target in their sights. A world renowned pop singer is also at the island compound, however. Gina Domenico was Jack's late wife's favorite vocal artist and her being there complicates the mission, but not in the way Jack first thinks. Because in the escape afterward, Jack and Gina spend three days together in a tiny coastal cave, waiting for extraction. Then they go their separate ways and Jack is surprised when she calls him three years later. Knowing Jack will never forgive her for the secret she has kept from him, she tells him the child she adopted two years earlier has been kidnapped and she can't bring in the police. Then she tells the man who told her he never wanted children he is a father and it is his son that has been taken. Jack is furious at her lie by omission, but as she had hoped, he will do whatever it takes to bring Eli home safely.
Harris has taken what seems to be a favorite storyline with military and suspense romance authors and worked her magic. The book has a fresh feel, the characters come across bigger than life and the plot is well developed. I am a fan of the series and am looking forward to the next book.

This story is all about second chances, forgiveness, choices, mixed with lots of actions and surprises in the plot.
Three years ago, when Gina and Jack met for the first time, Jack was tortured with grief and sorrow for the death of his pregnant wife. Gina and Jack shared 3 memorable days hiding in a cave, waiting for rescue, and sharing a bit more than life stories. Hence comes Eli.
Now they meet again, and again it is life and death situation. Because of Eli, and the attraction they still feel for each other, they try to build a new relationship, but it is on the foundation of resentment, withhold information, misunderstandings, and insecurities. In already difficult situation because of the kidnapping, the stress, pressure, and tension is high. Those are the factors I claim made both Gina and Jack act at times rather catty, petty, and little bit like spoilt brats. They have a long road to travel for a balanced, loving, trusting relationship. And the constant threat and menace to their lives speeds their way to open their hearts and minds for each other.
As always, the H.O.T. brotherhood is exemplary, with the 'all for one' attitude.
And the action, suspense, thriller is explosive with twists and turns, surprises, that keeps the reader on the edge.
I've said this before, but excellent series, highly recommended ~ four spoons!
